Bangladesh has recorded 15 deaths and 1,600 new cases of Covid-19 infection across the country in the last 24-hours.
The latest figures were unveiled though a daily statement from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on the Covid-19 pandemic on Thursday.
With the new deaths, the total death toll from the pandemic in the country stands at 5,608.
Similarly, the total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 384,559.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 14,104 samples were tested across the country.
Meanwhile, 1,708 patients successfully recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered patients in the country to 299,229.
