Adviser to the Ministry of Home Affairs Lieutenant General (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, exchanged Eid-ul-Azha greetings with members of various law enforcement agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Throughout the day on Saturday, he visited different forces to extend his greetings.
Director (Public Relations) of the Ministry of Home Affairs Lt Col Mohammad Faisal Hasan, informed that the adviser first visited Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital on Saturday afternoon and exchanged Eid greetings with police personnel stationed there.
He then inaugurated a special festive meal arranged for them.
Subsequently, the adviser visited the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, the Fire Service and Civil Defence Directorate, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), the Public Order Management (POM) unit in Mirpur and the Bangladesh Coast Guard.
At each location, he exchanged Eid greetings with members of the respective forces, inquired about their well-being and inaugurated special Eid meals organized in their honour.
The adviser concluded the day’s program by attending the festive meal at the Bangladesh Coast Guard, formally marking the end of his Eid greetings itinerary.
