Challenging Election Commissioner Rasheda Sultana's comment, Bogra-4 constituency's defeated independent candidate Ashraful Hossen Alom, better known as Hero Alom, has demanded fresh polls.
He made this challenge while exchanging greetings with voters in Kahalu constituency on Friday afternoon.
The election commissioner has denied the allegations made by Hero Alom about manipulating the election results in the Bogra-4 constituency on Thursday. She stated that there was no evidence to support Hero Alom's claims.
She also said that she had a discussion with the DC and district election officer. No flaw was found so the result was absolutely correct.
Hero Alom said CCTV cameras must be installed in every centre and all election commissioners will observe the voting during the fresh polls.
On Wednesday, he also held a press conference at his home in Bogra at 10:30pm.
There, he rejected the results of the vote and said: "Votes were not stolen, the results were stolen."
He also said that he would go to the High Court to get justice.
