Ashraful Hossen Alom, best known on social media as Hero Alom, is ahead in the voting of election to Bogra-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram).
Out of 112 centres, he got 11,480 votes in 63 centres. Election Returning Officer and District Commissioner Saiful Islam began announcing the result at Bogra district commissioner's office since Wednesday evening.
His closest rival Jasad candidate AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen got 9,400 votes.
On the other hand, Hero Alom is currently in third position in Bogra-6 (Bogra Sadar) by-election.
He has received 3,956 votes while the top two candidates have received 26,709 and 12,799 votes respectively.
Earlier, polling in Bogra-4 and 6 constituencies started from 8:30am and continued till 4:30pm.
