The US Embassy in Dhaka has warned that foreign students studying in the United States could have their student visas cancelled if they drop out, skip classes or leave their study programme without notifying their institution.
The embassy issued the warning in a social media post on Saturday.
'If you drop out, skip classes, or leave your program of study without informing your school, your student visa may be revoked, and you may lose eligibility for future U.S. visas,' the post said.
The embassy urged students to comply with their visa conditions and maintain their lawful status to avoid potential complications.
