Everjobs, East West University hold career workshops for students

Everjobs.com.bd, one of the fastest growing online career portals in Bangladesh, has organised the 18th edition of “Conquer Your Career” programme on Tuesday in collaboration with the East West University in Dhaka. The initiative, which consists of a series of career workshops targeted to university students, aims to assist fresh graduates in Bangladesh in entering the professional world, said a press release. The sessions, which were attended by more than 150 last semester students, provide the future professionals with the necessary information about the labour market in the country and  first-hand tips from experts regarding how to build a stronger and more innovative career. Alberto Ruscalla, Head of Business Development of everjobs Bangladesh, remarked: “At everjobs, we believe in the set of skills of each individual. We want to share our experience with the young talents in Bangladesh, who will build the future of this country.” Nahid Hasan Khan, Head of Career Counseling Center, East West University, said: “The workshop was very helpful and formative for the students: it helped students to overcome the fears and challenges of interviews and guided them through the decision making process, so that students could make the right career choices.” The Dhaka Tribune was media partner of the event.
