The body of an unidentified woman, believed to be around 28 years old, was recovered hanging inside the women’s bathroom at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The body was recovered at around 10:30am on Monday from the women’s bathroom located between Wards 110 and 111 of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Inspector Md Habibur Rahman, in-charge of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp, confirmed the incident. He said that at around 10:30am, the woman was found hanging from a water pipe inside the women’s bathroom, with a scarf wrapped around her neck.
The matter was subsequently reported to Shahbagh Police Station.
