Awami League will organize a public rally on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's homecoming day at Suhrawardy Udyan on Wednesday noon.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed traffic restrictions on different streets in the city marking the rally of Awami league.
DMP has issued traffic restrictions surrounding areas of the Suhrawardy Udyan. The areas include Kataban Crossing, Hotel InterContinental Crossing, Matshya Bhaban Crossing, Doel Square intersections and Dhaka University medical centre, Jagannath Hall Crossing, Sculpture Crossing, VC Bungalow Crossing.
DMP has requested the city dwellers to avoid the above-mentioned roads and use alternative routes.
Public rally's vehicles will be parked at Mohsin Hall Ground (VIP) Mall Square, both sides of the road from Palashi Crossing to Sculpture Crossing, both sides of Fuller Road, both sides of the road from Doel Square crossing to Shahidullah Hall crossing, both sides of Nawab Abdul Ghani road and both sides of Dilkusha and Motijheel area roads.
