The ruling Awami League's two-day “Peace and Development procession” program kicked off in Dhaka on Tuesday.
The event started at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, at 4pm where a rally is being held.
Awami League leaders and activists gathered at the peace rally venue before starting the rally.

Awami League central leaders are delivering speeches at the program.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader joined the rally to deliver a speech as the chief guest.
Dhaka TribuneAfter the rally, a peace procession will start from the Institution of Engineers at 6pm.
Following that, the Dhaka South City unit of Awami League will march towards Dhanmondi 32. The rally will pass then Shahbagh, Kataban, Science Laboratory, Kalabagan, Mirpur.
Dhaka TribuneOn Wednesday, the rally will be held at Tejgaon's Satrasta intersection, followed by a procession led by the Dhaka North City unit of Awami League to Mohakhali.
The rally will pass Satrasta, Tibet, Nabisco, Mohakhali Bus Terminal.
The Dhaka District Awami League will hold the procession outside the metropolis on both days.
