Another person, who was injured in the explosion in a building named "Shirin Mansion" in the Science Lab area of the capital, succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ayesha Akhter Asha, 26.
She succumbed to her injuries at around 8:35am at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
Asha had 38% surface-level burn injuries, he added.
The body has been kept at the DMCH morgue.
With this, the death toll from the explosion now stands at 4.
The explosion had also injured dozens of people and left part of the three-story building partially collapsed.
