Police arrested three people over Sunday's shootout near the Gulshan outlet of Gloria Jean's coffee shop that left two people injured.
The arrestees are -- Dhaka Metropolitan North Swecchasebak League Vice President Abdul Wahid Mintu, Oman expatriate Arif Hossain, and his brother-in-law Monir Hossain.
The case was filed by Aminul Islam, a driver, against the named accused at the Gulshan police station early on Monday.
All three of the accused were taken into police custody on Sunday following the incident. Later, they were shown arrested after the case was filed, said Gulshan police station Inspector Aminul Islam.
The officer said a Bkash store employee, Habibur Rahman Alif, captured Oman expatriate Arif Hossain as he allegedly did not pay Tk75,000 after transferring it through the mobile financial service.

Monir, Mintu, and some four to five people later came to the spot to take Arif with them. When the Bkash employee resisted, Mintu fired blanks with a licensed pistol to disperse the crowd.
At that time, however, the bullets hit some tiles and wounded two people including a pedestrian and a rickshaw puller.
Aminul is the driver of a man named Md Mohiuddin, who went to Gloria Jean's in the morning to have breakfast.
