A woman has been murdered in her own apartment in Dhaka.
The deceased Nasima Begum, 40, a housewife was murdered on Saturday night in Dhaka’s Adabor.
Adabor police station Officer-in-Charge Kazi Shahiduzzaman confirmed the matter on Sunday.
After the primary investigation, police are suspecting Nasima’s husband Bablu Hawladar as the killer.
He has been absconding after the incident.
She was murdered in her sleep. Her children were sleeping at the time of the incident.
The OC said: “It is confirmed that she was murdered, blood in her neck and ear was found.”
Nasima’s body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue for an autopsy, Shahiduzzaman added.
