The High Court has asked the son and daughter of BNP leader Sadek Hossain Khoka, former mayor of now defunct Dhaka City Corporation, to surrender before the judicial court within four weeks.
The bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice KM Hafizul Alam gave the order on Thursday, rejecting two bail petitions filed with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Barrister Azmalul Hossain stood for the petitioners, while Khurshid Alam Khan stood for the ACC, and Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik represented the state, reports UNB.

"The High Court has asked Khoka's son Ishraque Hossain and his daughter Sarika Sadeque to surrender before the court in a case filed for not submitting their wealth statements," ACC lawyer Khurshid Alam told reporters.
ACC Assistant Director Shamsul Alam filed two separate cases with Ramna police station on August 29-30 in 2010.
According to ACC inquiries, Ishrak Hossain has illegal wealth worth around Tk3 crore, while Sarika possesses wealth worth about Tk2 crore acquired through unknown income sources.
