A moving microbus caught fire in the Farmgate area of the capital, leaving the vehicle burnt, though no casualties were reported.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning in front of Ananda Cinema Hall in Farmgate.4
Fire service personnel brought the blaze under control after being alerted.
According to the Fire Service headquarters’ media cell, the microbus suddenly caught fire in the morning, triggering panic among people nearby.
The media cell said the fire was caused by a mechanical fault.
No one was injured in the incident, but the vehicle was completely gutted.
