Advance ticket sales start for return trips after Eid-ul-Azha

To facilitate the return of homebound passengers after Eid-ul-Azha, advance ticket sales for intercity trains have started.

On Monday, ticket sales for June 12 began at 8am for trains operating in the western region of Bangladesh Railway. Ticket sales for trains in the eastern region will start at 2pm.

For passengers' convenience, 100% of the tickets are being sold online again this year.

For Eid, tickets for intercity trains on June 9 were sold on Friday, tickets for June 10 on Saturday, and tickets for June 11 on Sunday.

Additionally, tickets for June 13 will be available on Tuesday, tickets for June 14 on Wednesday, and tickets for June 15 on Thursday.

Tickets for trains for one week after Eid are being sold under special arrangements.

Tickets purchased during this time are non-refundable to the railway.

Each ticket buyer can purchase up to four tickets at one time. However, if more than one seat ticket is purchased, the names of the co-passengers must be provided at the time of purchase.
