Law enforcers have arrested three persons for stealing 14 idols from a temple in Savar.
The idols, made of different metal, were stolen from the temple situated on the rooftop of a house on August 30.
The owner of the house, Barun Bhoumik, filed a case in this regard.
The arrestees are Nirmal, Amir Hossain and Shahid Haolader.
Police said they examined camera footages from around the crime scene and identified the thieves.
On Sunday night, they conducted a raid in Majidpur area of Savar and arrested Nirmal. Later, based on information gleaned from him, the law enforcers made the other two arrests.
