Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the third national council of Jubo Mohila League, an affiliate body of the Awami League.
The council is taking place at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan from 11am on Thursday.
The conference will be chaired by the president of the organization Najma Akhtar and moderated by the general secretary Apu Ukil.
The Jubo Mohila League was founded in 2002, with a convening committee headed by Nazma Akhter and Apu Ukil.
It held its first council on March 5, 2014, electing the two as president and general secretary, respectively.
Nazma and Apu were reelected as president and general secretary at the organization's second national triennial council on March 11, 2017.
They could be elected again this time, according to related sources.
