Bangladesh Newspaper Transport Owners Association General Secretary Md Abdus Salam has died aged 58.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held after Maghrib prayers in Shyamoli. The second janaza will be held at his ancestral home in Barisal.
The newspaper transport owners’ leader leaves behind a wife and three children.
Different newspaper bodies offered their condolences to Abdus Salam’s family on his passing.
