Deputy leader of Jatiya Sangsad Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury’s physical condition is improving, her family has said.
She is admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka with post-Covid-19 complications two weeks ago, her son Sehdat Chowdhury confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Saturday.
Previosuly, the Jatiya Sangsad leader underwent bypass surgery in 2015.
Following the huge victory of the Awami League in the 2008 elections, she was initially appointed deputy leader of the house in 2009.
After the Awami League won the 2014 elections, Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury was reappointed to the same position.
