BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has tested positive for Covid-19.
“The BNP secretary general has been diagnosed with the coronavirus,” BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told the media on Saturday evening.
The senior BNP leader is currently undergoing treatment at his residence under the supervision of Square Hospital’s medicine specialist Dr Raihan Rabbani
On Thursday, Fakhrul visited flood-hit Sylhet areas to distribute relief materials.
