Air Force soldier goes missing

A soldier of Bangladesh Air Force has been missing for six days. Nahid Al Noman, 20, son of Abu Taher of Gazipur’s Kaliakoir, had left home for his workplace at Chittagong’s Patenga after Eid vacation on July 1. However, he neither joined work at Patenga nor came back home. His mobile phone was also found switched off. Nahid’s father Abu Taher lodged a general diary with Kaliakoir police station on July 4. Kaliakoir police station Officer-in-Charge Motaleb Mia told the Dhaka Tribune: “We are trying to trace Nahid’s location through tracking his mobile phone. We are also checking his phone’s call list.” He said other police stations were also notified of the incident.
