President Abdul Hamid inaugurates National Red Crescent Youth Camp 2017

Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid on Monday inaugurated the 13th National Red Crescent Youth Camp at the Osmani Memorial Hall Auditorium in Dhaka. The youth camp, organized by the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), will be held in Mouchak, Gazipur, from December 18-21. This years theme is "Youth Leadership- Towards an Enlightened World.’’ This year, over 1,100 volunteers and representatives from various levels of the Red Crescent Societies will participate at the camp, said a press release. Minister for Health & Family Welfare Mohammed Nasim and BDRCS Vice Chairman Prof Md Habibe Millat, also a governing member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), were present at the inauguration, while BDRCS Chairman Hafiz Ahmed Mazumdar served as chair. Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Youth and Sports Ministry Chairperson Zahid Ahsan Russell and BDRCS Treasurer Tauhidur Rahman were also in attendance, among others.
