At least 10 students have been detained from the “March for Justice” program in Dinajpur.
They were detained while performing a program at the Shaheed Minar, Gor-E-Shahid Eidgah Maidan in Dinajpur at 11:30am on Wednesday.
Dinajpur Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Mominul Karim confirmed the matter.
The police officer said: “Some students were detained. They have been brought in for questioning and their parents have been informed.”
On Wednesday morning, students from different institutions started the program. During this time they chanted various slogans. Later, police and detective branch members came there and detained the students. Police then raided various parts of the city.
