Quota reform movement: Ninth grader killed in Narsingdi clash

There are marks of rubber bullets on his body, says doctor

A ninth-grade school student was killed in a clash with the police in Narsingdi Sadar Upazila on Thursday.

The incident took place at Narsingdi jail junction on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway at 5pm.

He was a student of Narsingdi Qadir Mollah High School Homes and School and a resident of Chinishpur of Sadar Upazila.

Mizanur Rahman, supervisor of Narsingdi District Sadar Hospital, said that there are marks of rubber bullets on his body.

It is reported that at 3.30pm, a clash erupted between students and protesters in Narsingdi.

Besides, 15 people were reportedly injured in the clash. There is still clash going on.
