100% animal waste removed in 64 DSCC wards till 8pm

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has removed 100% wastes of sacrificial animal in 64 wards out of total 75 wards of the corporation till 8pm.

A press release said the 64 wards are wards Nos. are 1, 2, 4, 5,  7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19-41, 43-59, 61, 63-66, and 68- 75.

In the areas under DSCC, the waste-cleaning activities from cattle markets began on Sunday night. On the day of Eid, waste removal from the markets continued, along with the cleaning of sacrificial animal waste.

On Monday around 2pm, a visit to various areas under the Dhaka South City Corporation showed that the cleaning workers of the city corporation were actively cleaning the alleys and main roads of the sacrificial animal waste. DSCC's live monitoring showed that the cleaning activities were in full swing to fulfil the mayor's promise to the residents of the capital.
