The Maldives government will recruit more doctors and nurses from Bangladesh.
The country will send students for medical education in Bangladesh, reports BSS. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Bangladesh and Maldives was signed on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed by the State Minister for health of Bangladesh Zahid Malek and Health Minister of the Maldives Hussain Rasheed at the 32nd meeting of the Ministers of Health of World Health Organisation South-East Asia Region (WHO-SEAR) and the 67th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka.
