Indian Trinamool Congress MP and actor Tapas Pal has been hospitalised in Kolkata after suffering a brain stroke, reports NDTV.
Belle Vue Hospital official P Tandon said: "He (Paul) was brought to the hospital at 4 pm. MRI was conducted and it was found that he has suffered a brain stroke.
"He has been admitted in ICU and is under 72-hour observation," the official added.
Popular actor Tapas became controversial recently after he threatened to have women relatives of Left workers raped.
Earlier in July, he was admitted to the same hospital after a sudden spurt in his blood pressure.
