The death toll from Indian missile strikes in Pakistan and firing along the border on Wednesday has risen to 26, the Pakistani military said.
"Until now, 26 innocent civilians have been martyred in attacks," said military spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
India and Pakistan exchanged heavy artillery along their contested frontier on Wednesday, after New Delhi launched missile strikes on its arch-rival in a major escalation between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
