The condition of former Indian president and veteran politician Pranab Mukherjee’s health has remained unchanged and he is still on ventilator support.
“There is no change in the medical condition of Pranab Mukherjee. He continues to be on ventilator support and his vital parameters are stable,” the Army Research and Referral Hospital in New Delhi said in a statement on Tuesday.

On Sunday, Pranab Mukherjee’s son Abhijit Mukherjee had said the medical condition of his father was improving as he was stable and responding to treatment.
The former president of India underwent an emergency surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain on August 10.
Prior to getting admitted to the hospital, Pranab Mukherjee tweeted that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and had been admitted to the hospital for a “separate procedure.” He had also requested all who came in contact with him to isolate themselves.
