India's Maoist rebels have killed four policemen they abducted from a bus in Chhattisgarh's insurgent Bijapur district.
The bodies of four police personnel were recovered on Wednesday morning, Times of India reports.
Bijapur SP KL Dhruva said: "The four policemen were killed with sharp weapon."
The four police officers are Jaydev Yadav, Mangal Sodhi, Raju Tela and Rama Majji, posted at Kutru and Bedre police station.
Police said Maoists were yet to claim responsibility or reveal the motive behind the abduction.
