After Wisconsin, another battleground state witnesses a close competition as 1 million votes remain to be counted.
Republican Trump is ahead of Democrat Biden with a mere 24,248 votes, almost opposite of Wisconsin. With 91% of the estimates votes counted, Trump has bagged 2,420,821 (49.5%) votes while Biden - 2,396,573 (49%), according to AP’s projection published by USA Today.
Michigan emerged as a key battleground state in the 2016 election, when Donald Trump became the first Republican nominee to win there since George HW Bush in 1988, defeating Hillary Clinton by about two-tenths of 1% of the vote.

This year, former Vice President Joe Biden has led in the Michigan polls all year, suggesting it, like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, two other former "blue wall" states Trump won previously, may be ready to flip back. Trump has continued to target the state in ads and visits, however, reports USA Today.
