"If you feel stuck in the middle of the extremes in our politics, if you are tired of the noise and the nonsense, you have a home with me and you have a home with Joe Biden," she said.

Klobuchar effectively pulled herself out of contention to be Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's running mate, saying she felt that the historic moment required picking a woman of color.
Klobuchar competed against Biden for the party's presidential nomination before endorsing him.
Biden praised Klobuchar's "grit and determination" on Twitter and said that "with your help, we're going to beat Donald Trump."
