A Bangladeshi expat worker hailing from Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar was killed in a road accident in Qatar on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Hossain Ahmed Juel, 30, a worker of a private company in Qatar, confirmed local journalist Joynal Abedin, also the father-in-law of the victim.
Juel has a 3-year-old child and the process is underway to bring back his body to Bangladesh, said Joynal.
On Thursday, Juel was on his way to his workplace by a pickup van in the Alkur area when he fell on the road from the vehicle and suffered a head injury. He succumbed to his injuries at the intensive care unit of a local hospital, Joynal further said.
