Witches audition at Wokey Hole

Aspiring witches auditioned for the role of the resident witch in a Somerset tourist attraction on Tuesday.

The witches all showcased their talents during an audition to work as the resident witch at the Wookey Hole Caves tourist attraction in Wookey Hole, Somerset, England.

Around 50 applicants auditioned for the position Tuesday, each given one minute to perform in front of a panel of judges. The requirements for the job included: Must be able to cackle, must be able to work weekends and school holidays and must not be allergic to cats.

26-year old Anna Dixon, a waitress, impressed the panel of judges with her cackle and 'believable' witch character and landed the £50,000 a year role.
