Update : 11 Oct 2017, 08:43 PM
A Bangladeshi expat has been found dead near a beach of the Tyrrhenian Sea at Rome in Italy. The deceased is Imran Hossain Milon Chhaiyal, 35, the eldest son of Md Ishaq Chhaiyal hailing from Ghorishar Union Parishad under Naria upazila of Shariatpur. Confirming the matter, Milon's sister Runa Islam said he took a new job at a factory two weeks ago. “But two colleagues at his [Milon's] new workplace asked him not to join there. The issue, however, was resolved after the factory owner intervened and he started working there,” she said. According to family sources, Milon had moved to Italy back in 2004 looking for a better living. He got married in 2014 and his wife has been living in their own residence in Dhaka's Jurain area. His immediate younger brother Md Mamun Chhaiyal had moved to Italy in 2000 while their youngest sibling Shahin Chhaiyal had joined them in 2008. Quoting Mamun and Shahin, Runa said: “Milon set off for work on Sunday, from his rented home in Rome. As he did not return home from work on time, the duo reported the matter to police.” Mamun was finally found dead, with several bruises on his body, near the sea beach close to Lido di Ostia on Monday afternoon. After police recovered the corpse, Mamun identified that it belonged to Milon. The process to bring back the body home has already been initiated, said Milon's family members.
