A tragic incident unfolded in Zhob, Balochistan, as nine soldiers of the Pakistan Army lost their lives in a fierce gun battle with five heavily armed terrorists.
According to Pakistan Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists attacked the Zhob Garrison in Northern Balochistan, but the soldiers on duty successfully prevented their initial attempt to breach the facility.
In the ensuing heavy exchange of fire, the terrorists were cornered at the boundary, immediately eliminating three heavily armed terrorists.
However, four soldiers were killed during the clearance operation, and five others sustained critical injuries. The total number of terrorists killed in the operation stands at five.
The ISPR stated that the Security Forces and the nation remain resilient and determined to counter such cowardly attempts by the enemy aimed at destabilizing the peace in Balochistan and Pakistan.
