Bangladesh’s Fuchka listed among 50 best street foods in Asia

When it comes to food, Bangladesh never failed to amaze the world with its rich delicacies. 

However, CNN reports that one of Bangladesh's most popular and mouth-watering treats, Fuchka, has earned its place among the 50 best street foods in Asia.

Fuchka - a crispy, hollow sphere filled with chickpeas, mashed potatoes, and various flavorful spices tantalize the tastebuds with all the sweet, sour, spicy smack at once. 

When mixed with freshly chopped onions, cucumber, lime, coriander, green chillies and chaat masala blend, the food takes on a new level

It is usually served with a small cup of tamarind water or sauce on the side, with grated boiled eggs on top. 

Fuchka’s other versions are known as Panipuri, Gol Gappa, in India. 

Asia always delivers a big variety and flavor when it comes to food.

Despite the diversity of the countries, there are many similarities as the recipes have traversed borders.
