Dengue death toll climbs to 230 with 4 more deaths

With four more deaths from dengue confirmed in the 24 hours till Sunday morning, the official death toll from the disease rose to 230 in 2022 - the highest on record after the 179 deaths recorded in 2019.

Report: Motorcycle accidents killed 19.28% more people than 2021

Casualties from bike accidents in Bangladesh increased by 19.28% compared with last year as 2,097 people were killed in 2,003 accidents till October this year.

Minister: Red alert issued to find 2 convicted militants

20L reward to find two death row convicts

Bangladesh Police has announced a reward of Tk10 lakh for each of the two death row convicts and a total of Tk20 lakh for finding both who escaped from the court premises after the hearing at a Dhaka tribunal.
