Hillary's portrait looms over Trump as he greets White House visitors

Update : 08 Mar 2017, 10:25 AM
Donald Trump has always had a knack for surprising the people even before he became the 45th president of the US. He went out of his way on Tuesday to greet the first group to tour the White House since his inauguration – and Hillary Clinton was there too, well, sort of.Video showed a group of surprised fifth-graders cheering and clapping when the president appeared from behind a partition as they were touring the East Wing. Trump greeted them enthusiastically and even invited one of the young boys to pose with him.But as photos and video clip of the moment circulated, people noticed one small detail – a huge portrait of a smiling Hillary on the wall behind Trump. Hillary, a former first lady and secretary of state, was defeated by Trump in the 2016 election. Some Twitter users assumed that Trump was oblivious to the photo while others likened him to a Palm Beach society hostess. Some recalled Trump's infamous "lock her up" chant from the campaign trail. The 'photobombing', as some called it, also generated some jokes. Twitter user @barmb17123 wrote: “DON'T call attention to it! He'll have it replaced with a LIFE SIZE picture of HIMSELF (or Putin?).”
