The son of al-Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden has reportedly married the daughter of terrorist Mohammed Atta who flew a hijacked airliner into World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001. In an interview with the Guardian, Osama’s family has claimed that Hamza bin Laden has vowed to avenge his father. Bin Laden senior was shot dead during a dramatic raid by US special forces in the early hours of May 2, 2011. Hamza is seen by many as a future standard bearer of global jihad, unlike the uncharismatic Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahiri, who took over the leadership of al-Qaeda after bin Laden’s demise
