Four people were left injured on Thursday after a gunman opened fire at a market in Sweden. Swedish police have ruled out the incident being terror-related, reports the Daily Mail. Reports of “multiple casualties” surfaced after the man started shooting people in the heart of Trelleborg, Sweden at around 11.30pm local time. A huge police operation has been launched and the area around where the drama unfolded has been cordoned off, according to the UK news outlet. There has been no reports of fatalities as yet. Police spokesman Fredrik Bratt said: “We have received several reports of a shooting in Trelleborg. When we arrived at the scene, several people with gunshot injuries were found. “We are blocking certain areas and will conduct an investigation. I do not have any more information at this time. But we are at the scene and investigating.” A local, Aron Tydén, told Swedish newspaper Expressen: “I was at home at my computer when I heard a loud bang. Right now, it's locked off. I just heard shots and a lot of screaming.” While another added: “'There were many shots. We saw someone running outside. It's packed with police cars in the street.”
