Update : 12 Jan 2025, 03:19 PM

In Bangladesh, acquiring proficiency in the English language plays a significant role in academic, professional, and social life. However, many people experience a certain fear or hesitation towards the language, which becomes an obstacle to their overall development. To tackle this challenge, Saiful Islam’s initiative, English Therapy, has become an effective solution.

Founded in 2018, English Therapy is an educational platform that breaks the traditional notion of language learning and offers students an easy and effective way to learn English. This program is specifically designed for those who are weak in the fundamental aspects of the language.

According to Saiful Islam, "English Therapy is not just a program to teach English; it is a mission to rebuild self-confidence."

English Therapy helps students improve their skills in four core areas -- reading, writing, speaking, and understanding -- while also aiding them in acquiring practical linguistic skills for real-life situations. This includes basic grammar and vocabulary development, pronunciation correction, presentation and communication skills training, residential camps, and live practice sessions. The program is offered both online and offline, allowing students from anywhere in the country to participate.

Through English Therapy, thousands of students have already turned their lives around. Rumana Akter says, "Before English Therapy, I could never express myself in English. Now, I can easily lead office meetings. My language skills have opened new doors in the corporate world." Tanveer Ahmed shares, "I’ve always wanted to do something big, but my weakness in English held me back. With English Therapy, I not only gained linguistic skills but also learned how to present myself on international platforms. Recently, my presentation was well-received at an international seminar." Munima Farhana states, "English was a major barrier in my academic career. I joined this course to score well in IELTS. Sir guided me in such a way that I scored 7.5. This is the first step toward fulfilling my higher education dreams."

To date, English Therapy has trained over 45,000 students. His books have repeatedly become bestsellers and have earned international awards. According to Saiful Islam, "Language proficiency is a mental breakthrough. We don’t just teach a language; we build confidence. My goal is to prepare every student in such a way that they don’t just speak or write in English, but they also learn to think in it. I believe that building trust in language is the most important thing in shaping a proficient generation."
