Md Reday Hasan of Bangladesh beat Gansukh Erdnetod of Mongolia 6-0, 6-0, in the consolation round of the ITF 14/U Asian Championships at the Asian Tennis Center, Bangkok yesterday.
Two other Bangladeshi players also secured easy wins over their Laos opponents. Naimul Islam Amiyo defeated Polo Phengprom 6-0, 6-1 and Zubin Omar beat Kenta Chanthavonk by the same margin.
In the girls section, Bangladeshi Afrana Islam Prity beat Batuyanga Batbaatar of Mongolai 6-0, 6-1 in the second round while Popy Akther lost to Anne Mathema of Nepal 2-6, 2-6.
