Bangladesh thumped Australia 80–8 in their Group A game of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup in Ahmedabad, India on Monday.
The raiders in red and green thoroughly dominated their opponents as they led 36-2 at half-time.
It was a commanding performance right till the end as Bangladesh ended up with the highest total by any team in the Kabaddi World Cup.
The massive margin of win also helped the Asian team shatter two records - record victory margin and most number of all outs in a match.
The huge victory margin of 72 points was also the biggest at the 2016 World Cup.
Aruduzzaman Munshi scored 17 points for Bangladesh whereas Sabuj Miah scored nine tackle points.
