WIM Rani Hamid will face reigning champion WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin in the Sultana Kamal 14th National Women Chess Championship starting today at the chess federation hall-room.
A total of 12 players are taking part in the tournament which will be played in round robin league system. The draw of the coveted tournament took place yesterday. In other matches on the opening day Shimmi, Eva, Zakia, Liza and Nupur will play against Evana, Hamida, Tanima, Runu and Moly respectively. Tribune Desk
