Bangladeshi-origin English boxer Ruqsana Begum clinched the WBU world female flyweight title in Bangkok, Thailand last week.
The bout was held at World Siam Stadium as Ruqsana beat Kadesara Jadpakdee.
A press release from Bangkok states that Ruqsana at the same time became the first woman to win world titles in two combat ring sports.
She earlier won world title in in her category in muay thai (kickboxing) in 2016.
Winning the WBU world title was another feather in her hat in professional boxing.
The 41-year old has been unbeaten in the boxing ring in the last three years.
Known as “Warrior Princess”, she has won her last six bouts.
