Bangladesh open team qualified for the World Bridge Championships 2025, set to be held in Denmark in August.
The 23rd edition of the Asia and Middle East Zone 4 bridge qualifiers took place at Media Rotana Hotel in Dubai.
Bangladesh made it among the top two teams to book tickets for Denmark.
A total of 10 countries participated in the qualifiers.
Beating Jordan in the semi-final Thursday secured the qualification for the third time in eight years.
Kamruzzaman, Asifur Rahman, Zahid Hossain and Shah Zia-ul Haque played the cards for Bangladesh in the last-four battle.
Earlier, Bangladesh qualified for the World Bridge Championships in 2017 and 2019.
