Bangladesh Police and Ansar made it to the women’s Victory Day kabaddi final while Air Force beat Police in Dhaka Monday to set up men’s final with Navy.
Border Guard Bangladesh lost to Police 41-35 in the first top-four battle while Ansar & VDP defeated Narail district 43-18 in the other women’s semi-final.
The finals are scheduled to take place at the national handball stadium Tuesday.
It was not an easy victory for favorites Air Force as they won the semi-final 39-36.
Navy earlier defeated Army in tie-breaker in the first semi-final the previous day.
Both Navy and Air Force came from Group B of the opening-round fixtures.
