Bangladesh national team Friday handed Afghanistan a thrashing 12-0 defeat in the Baseball United Arab Classic 2024 in Dubai.
It was Bangladesh's second match in the competition after they lost to Pakistan 10-0 in their opening fixture the previous day.
A total of nine countries split into two groups are participating in the tournament.
Bangladesh are placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Afghanistan, hosts United Arab Emirates and India while Group B consists of Palestine, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Saudi Arabia.
Japanese coach Hiroki Watanabe's side will face the home side and India Saturday to conclude group fixtures.
