A total of four players shared the lead in the points table with maximum 3 points each after 3rd round play of the Preliminary Phase of the 34th National Women Chess Championship at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hallrooms yesterday. The players are WFM Nazrana Khan Eva, Shamiha Sharmin Shimmi, Dilara Jahan Nupur and Kishwara Sjarin Evana.
WFM Zakia Sultana, Mahmuda Hoque Chowdhury Moly, Tanzina AkterTani and Tasmin Sultana are sharing 2nd position with 2.5 points each. In the 3rd round, Eva beat Protiva Talukder, Zakia drew with Moly, Shimmi beat Hamida Rahman, Nupur beat JahanaraHaqurRunu, Evana got walk-over against Afrin JahanMunia, Tani beat Meherunnesa Hilali and Tasmin beat AnnanyaChaity.
